The second is that Moonreader doesn't seem to respect series order. I guess I could go through and change every author to use the author sort version but is there an easier or more correct way? I have it set correctly within Calibre to have author name displayed as John Smith, but have author sort set to Smith, John.
The first is that Moonreader will sort by author but using their first name rather than last. Everything works fine with two semi-minor but irritating issues. You can also download the books using your desktop web browser and upload them to Play Books by visiting, making them available in the Play Books app on your mobile devices.I use Calibre to organize and sync my library to my Android devices (phone and tablet) where I read the books using MoonReader Pro.
